In a Slow Cooker:
- 1/2 C water
- 1/2 C soya sauce
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Put into slow cooker on low with roast for 7-8 hrs.
You can thicken the sauce with cornstarch to make a gravy when done.
I make two changes when I make this for my family.
- I use Braggs which is a gluten free soya sauce.
- I use gluten free flour instead of cornstarch to make the gravy.
I love using the slow cooker. Because we are an active and busy family I always need to have food ready.
